Beijing
     — Chunhuiyuan Hot Spring tour

There are two famous hot spring resorts outside the city of Beijing proper. One is Jiuhua Spa & Resort; the other is Chunyuiyuan Hot Spring Resort. Actually the two spa resorts have the same springhead – Xiaotangshan hot spring. Xiaotangshan has been famous for its hot springs for over 300 years. Local legend has it that the imperial family of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) went there to relax. The temperature of water here ranges from 29 C to 90 C. People have used hot spring water in therapeutic baths for more than 200 years to treat rheumatism and other ailments. For foreign tourists, this is perhaps one of the most memorable cultural experiences and it will certainly spoil you.
